JR SPORTS THERAPY
Live a pain free & fulfilled life
At JR SPORTS THERAPY OUR PRIMARY AIM IS TO ENABLE OUR PATIENTS TO LIVE A PAIN FREE & FULFILLED LIFE
Hi, I'm Jenny
I am a Graduate Sports Therapist based in Wigan, Lancashire. I specialise in helping those in pain to becoming pain free.
Whether you are a regular gym goer, athlete or just enjoy a nice Sunday walk with friends & family I can help.
Getting to know you the patient through a detailed consultation, empowers me to be able to understand the limiting factors that the pain is creating in your everyday life.
Throughout my whole life I have always participated in sport, whether that’s on the Netball court, Rugby pitch or jumping a course of jumps in a show jumping ring. To more recently where I have taken up the challenge of road cycling & open water swimming, with maybe a potential triathlon being thrown in, in 2022.
Touch wood – I have been quite lucky that I haven’t had any major injuries. But it’s not to say that I haven’t witnessed any either.
From being in my late teens, I always knew that I wanted to be doing a job that helped people who were injured or in pain.
In the early days of my career, I was very privileged to be working with some amazing athletes in England Netball & Wigan Warriors.
Fast forward a few years to July 2010 & I became a Graduate Sports Therapist. Spending the previous three years prior to my graduation, developing my skills in understanding the human body in how it functions, injury & the process of rehabilitation.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have worked in both professional & amateur sport. Working with Wigan Warriors RLFC assisting in their post game recovery, England Netball during one of their campaigns & Swinton Lions RLFC as their Head Sports Therapist.
DO YOU FEEL THAT...
Traditional methods of treatment have never worked for you?
No one has provided you with an effective explanation to your injury or pain?
Pain relief medication isn’t the answer?
You haven’t been listened to properly about your pain?
You are going to be in pain for the rest of your life?
