How we move
How we move is critical to reducing our chances of tissue overload & injury. But too many of us, move & load our tissues in a such a way that the risk of injury & overload is high.
Many of us spend our days stuck in unhealthy positions, with little to no movement throughout the working day & every chance of some stress thrown in as well. After the working day is complete, most will go to the gym or go out for a run with no thought to how their body has been positioned throughout the day.
Over time either pain or injury will occur, some cannot understand how or why this has happened as nothing has changed in their routines. Probe a little deeper & the factors are there - stress, lack of quality movement, overload, poor sleep etc.
Getting the fundamentals & the basics right straight away in the rehab will provide long lasting results.
